The Centre for Employment has developed a comprehensive, fun, interactive workshop to assist individuals with the Secrets of Job Success. The components of the workshop include: Employer Expectations, Labour Market, Resume and Cover letter preparation, Self-Assessment, Interviews, and Job Search.

Job Boards - Our Job Boards post full-time, part-time, casual, and on-going employment.   We have 3 job boards.  Our Customer Service job board includes Administration, Retail, Food Services and Other.  Our Labour board includes Farming and General Labour, Trades and Driving jobs.  Our Casual job board includes casual employment in the Mountain View County area.

The Centre for Employment also provides 3 Community Access Computers with Internet and printer access. Assistance is available to anyone needing help with the available computers, printer and local fax. The Employment Assistants, if needed, assist individuals to access Microsoft Office programs or Internet resources. This can include, but is not limited to: forms for Employment Insurance, resume preparation, cover letters, job search, etc. We also offer “hot-zone/wireless” capabilities.

Career Cruising - Career Cruising is an interactive career resource designed for people of all ages. Career Cruising offers assessment tools, detailed occupation profiles, and post-secondary education information. Ask any of our staff regarding access to Career Cruising.
